Bio of William Jackson
William Jackson graduated from South Carolina State University earning a Bachelor’s in Education degree, he furthered his education earning a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Webster University with a focus on Educational Technology, Social Media and STEM.
William’s career involves past teaching with NASA as an Internet and Technology instructor, technology consultant with the Florida Department of Education and current Professor with Edward Waters College teaching Educational Technology, Social Media and STEM.
He has been involved in the field of education over 25 years in elementary and higher education.
Teaching STEM and STEAM curriculum in higher education at Edward Waters College to prepare students for the diversity of education and business.
William is not only an educator, but he is a Social Media Consultant, presenter on Bullying and Cyberbullying, Internet Safety and his passion Blogging and Writing.

William has worked with former Mayor Alvin Brown and the City of Jacksonville teaching and presenting with Mayor Brown’s Learn2Earn Experience and serving on the City of Jacksonville’s Mayor Brown’s Education Summit to assist first generation college students to meet with success.
William has spoken at the Boys and Girls Clubs about Social Media Safety, Preventing Sexting, Preventing Cyberbullying and Bullying.
The Bridge of Northeast Florida and upon request of the Florida
State Attorneys Office with the Prevent Crime In The Black Community for three years about Social Media Safety
Accountability and Responsibility.
William keeps active in the Jacksonville community involved in Mentoring Programs, and involved in the Northeast Florida Suicide Prevention Advisory Board, Journey Into Womanhood, Family of Slain Children and several other community groups.
Having a passion for Blogging and Writing William has been Blogging over 12 years. The focus of the writings: technology in education, Bullying, Internet Safety, Social Media, Suicide Prevention, Fathers and parenting issues are just a few of his Blogs.
The opportunity to present to youth, teens, young adults helps William stay engaged with youth and allow him to present and continue to learn where each generations attention is focused using technology.
